Fire tags
from your calls
Put phone activity to work in the tools you already run. CallRing AI sends completed calls, missed calls, voicemails and messages to your server-side GTM container, so you can fire tags — GA4, Ads conversions, CAPI and more — straight from calls. Scoped by a whole workspace or just specific numbers, with no extra tracking code on your site.

What is the Google Tag Manager integration?
It plugs your phone activity into the tag system you already run. CallRing AI sends an event to your server-side GTM container whenever a call completes, a call is missed, a voicemail is left, or a message arrives. Inside your container you build triggers and tags as normal — fire a GA4 event, an Ads conversion, a CAPI hit or a custom request — all driven by calls, with no extra code on your website.
Set up in minutes
Connect Tag Manager in three steps
No OAuth, no website changes. Point it at your container and go.
Add your container URL
Create a record and paste your server container URL (for example https://sgtm.example.com). Measurement ID and API secret are optional, based on your GA4 client config.
Choose what it covers
Scope the record to a whole workspace or a hand-picked set of numbers, so only the calls you care about reach your container.
Turn on your events
Enable completed calls, missed calls, voicemails and messages and pick the fields to send. Then build your triggers and tags in GTM.
What gets sent
Four events your tags can fire on
Each arrives at your container as its own event, ready to trigger whatever tags you run.
Call Completed
call_completed
A successful call pushes an event you can fire conversion tags from.
Missed Call
missed_call
Unanswered calls trigger their own tags, so you can react to lost demand.
Voicemail
voicemail
Voicemail events let you tag intent even when a call was not answered.
Message
message
Texts are pushed to your container so conversations can fire tags too.
Why teams like it
One container, every downstream tool
Server-side, no site code
Events reach your container endpoint directly — nothing to add to your website or web container.
Reuse your tags
Fire GA4, Google Ads conversions, Meta CAPI or custom HTTP tags you have already built in GTM.
Precise scoping
Send only the numbers that matter — target a whole workspace or a hand-picked list per record.
Fields you choose
Attach the parameters your tags need — direction, status, duration, source and more — to each event.
Real-time
Events are sent the instant they happen, so downstream tags fire without any batch or delay.
Your infrastructure
Events go to a container URL you control, keeping data flowing through your own server-side setup.
FAQ
Common questions
How do I connect Google Tag Manager?
There is no OAuth to set up. In your dashboard you create a record, paste your server container URL (for example https://sgtm.example.com), choose which numbers it covers, and turn on the events you want. A Measurement ID and API secret are optional depending on your GA4 client config.
Do I need to add tracking code to my website?
No. Events are sent server to server to your sGTM container endpoint, so there is nothing to add to your website.
What can I do with the events in GTM?
Inside your container you build triggers and tags as usual. Fire a GA4 event, an Ads conversion, a CAPI hit or a custom HTTP request whenever a call completes, is missed, a voicemail is left, or a message arrives.
Which events are sent?
Completed calls, missed calls, voicemails and messages, each sent to your container as its own event with the fields you choose to include.
Can different numbers use different containers?
Yes. Each record carries its own container URL and is scoped to a workspace or a set of numbers, so you can route calls to whichever container fits.
